433 MHz ISM Band LoRa Antenna

This 433 MHz omnidirectional whip antenna is designed for LoRa, LoRaWAN, and other sub-GHz ISM applications in the European, Chinese, and Southeast Asian bands. With a 4 dBi gain and SMA male connector, it is a drop-in antenna for SX1276, SX1278, Ra-02, and LoRa1276-C1 transceiver modules.

Mechanical and Electrical

  • Center frequency: 433 MHz +/- 10 MHz (ISM band, license-free in most regions)
  • Gain: 4 dBi, omnidirectional H-plane pattern, vertical polarization
  • VSWR: <= 1.5 at center frequency, 50 ohm nominal impedance
  • Connector: SMA male (brass body, gold-plated center pin)
  • Total length: 195 mm, ABS radome, 20 g net weight
  • Operating temperature: -40 to +85 C (industrial grade)

Typical Use Cases

  • LoRaWAN end nodes and outdoor gateways
  • Remote utility metering (water, gas, electricity)
  • Agricultural sensors and environmental monitoring
  • Industrial IoT, asset tracking, and home automation hubs

Range Reference

Typical line-of-sight range is 2-5 km in dense urban environments and 8-15 km in open rural terrain when paired with an SX1278 module at 10 dBm output. Actual range depends on TX power, terrain, antenna height, and gateway sensitivity.

What's in the Box
